Description
You woke up not knowing where you were. You seemed to be in some sort of lab. You look to the left and see a giant green thing sleeping in a chair next to you, your eyes widen and you gasp, you try to move but find yourself to be very weak. The best you could do was slightly shift in your bed, that causes the creature beside you to stir and open its eyes. They were an extremely bright, piercing type of emerald. They make your (e/c) eyes widen.

"(Y/n)..?" He asks quietly turning to look at you. When he does he smiles brightly. "Your awake!" He says happily. You just slowly shift further away, his smile drops. "(Y/n), what's wrong?" He asks.

"H-how do you know me? How do you know my name? Where am I?" You ask quickly darting your eyes back and forth.

"Whaddaya mean?" He asks puzzled.

"I don't know who you are or where I am." You explain.

"But-"

"(Y/n)!" Another creature shouts as it runs in and hugs you, you just went stiff in shock. Keeping quiet.

"Let her go Mikey!" The first one snaps. The one called Mikey did as he was asked. When he saw how scared you actually were he shrunk a little.

"Oh...sorry..." He says guiltily.

"What's wrong?" A blue masked one asks, the first one had a red mask and the second one had a orange one.

"I-I don't kn-know who you are or w-where I am..." You explain quietly trying not to show your fear. The blue masked one turns to the tallest one in a purple mask. He crouches down and walks toward you slowly with his hands up.

"It's okay, we're not gonna hurt you. Honest..." He says soothingly You start to calm down slightly. "Do you know your name?" You nod.

"(Y/n) (m/n) if you have one) (l/n)"

"Date of birth?"

"(D/o/b)" he then hesitates for a minute.

"Do you know who we are?"

"A-am I...am I supposed to?" You ask almost guiltily. The purple masked turtle gazes at you for a moment before he turns around to the other turtles.

"She seems to have some form of amnesia you guys."

"B-but how?" The red masked one asks.

"She did hit her head pretty hard back during that fight...maybe that's how." He inquires.

"I-I'm right here you know....could you at least explain to me who you are and what I'm doing here?" You ask trying to sit up straighter and be brave. The blue masked turtle looks at you.

"We're a group of turtles that have actually known you for a long time (y/n). A couple years actually. We all went through a lot together and ended up becoming really good friends. You were like a sister to us." He explains. He looks to the red masked turtle. "Well, most of us anyways." The red masked turtle stiffens up and blushes. His cheeks turning a slightly brighter shade of green. You look at him confused and then back to the one in the blue mask.

"H-how can I trust you..?"

"If we didn't like you or anything like that you'd be in a much worse state you can trust me on that." The purple masked turtle says.

"F-fair enough...names?"

"I'm Leo."

"Mikey."

"You used to call me Donnie." You look to the red masked turtle.

"R-Raph, I'm Raph..." He explains looking down. You nod.

"A-alright...why am I here?"

"We had a huge fight with the foot a couple days back and you ended up getting hurt pretty bad." Don explains. You look under your covers to find your right legs and even arms full of light bruises and bandages in certain places. "We brought you here to help take care of you since you didn't really have anywhere else to go..." You nod in understanding. You didn't really have a house or family so that part actually made sense.

"Seems legit...I guess..." You say slowly.

"You really don't remember (y/n)?" Mikey asks softly, you look at him and shake your head.

"I'm afraid not Mikey...I'm sorry..." You say looking down guiltily.

"Don't be. We'ed be happy to remind you." Leo says with a slight smile, you look at him.

"Really?" You ask quietly. He nods.

"Absolutely." You all had sat down and each of the the turtles had started telling you tales of your life together, some of them were thrilling, some funny, some sad, some awesome and some just plain weird. As they told you these stories you couldn't help but notice how they went into detail on how you acted. You had to say, some of the mannerisms they said you did and the things that you said at certain points in time were things that only you would really say. So you just had to trust them in that regard. They spent the entire day filling you in on what they could remember. They made sure to give you food and water so you'd have it available and you wouldn't have to ask.

"Wow....we really did all that?" You ask. Raph nods.

"Yup, those were some good times...at least some of em." He inquires. You giggle. That made him smile. For some reason it gave you great pleasure in seeing him smile. It made you giggle a little more.

"And you've still got a lot more tales of turtle awesomeness coming dudette! Mikey shouts with a smile. You laugh and eventually after a few more stories it was time to can it and head to bed, you had stayed in your cot the entire time since you were still pretty weak and in a fair amount of pain, but Don made sure to give you medicine to help with that. Everyone except Raph had left.

"Aren't you tired?" You ask, he nods.

"Yeah, but don't worry," he clicks his feet up onto the edge of your bed. "I'm fine like this." He says with a smile.

"You sure?" You ask puzzled. He nods.

"Yeah I'm sure, trust me on that okay?" You hesitantly nod.

Over the next few days they told you even more stories and you had gotten to the point that you could walk around the lair freely and your body had healed completely. Even though you've only met them for a few days it really did feel like you've known them for years. They welcomed you with open arms and did almost everything with you. Or uh, kinda. Mikey would usually play video games with you while you'd talk or train with Leo and Raph, you also played video games with Raph too. You'd even help Don occasionally in the lab. Not only that but Master Splinter had decided to give you a little crash course on the ninjutsu topics you missed. And that went on for about two t other days. They really did make you feel like you were family. You didn't mind that at all. You just wished you hadn't forgotten about all those supposed adventures you had. They seemed really awesome. It would've made it much easier to actually relate and talk to them if you didn't forget. The next morning you decided to train in the dojo, right when you were about to start Raph walks in. You smile at him.

"Good morning!" You say brightly. He smiles back.

"Morning." He replies. He walks over to you. "Care to see if you still got it?" He asks, you nod.

"Don't see why not. Just take it easy on me okay?" He nods.

"Sure thing." The two of you then start sparring and you find that you actually did retain most of your previous training which was really nice for you.

"I'd say you're good enough to come on patrol with us again." Raph says when you finish. You smile.

"Sweet!" You say with a fist pump. Raph laughs.

"Come on, forgot to have breakfast." The two of you then go and get some food. Raph pulls out (f/c).

"How'd you knew this was my favorite?" You ask playfully.

"I think you know (y/n), your not stupid." Raph inquires with a smile. You laugh. But then you quiet down.

"May not be stupid but I just wish I could remember...I'm sorry for putting you guys through all of this, you don't deserve it." You look down when you feel something touch your arm.

"Hey don't worry about it, it wasn't your fault..." Raph says softly.

"It kinda is...if I had payed better attention I wouldn'tve put myself in that position..."

"You didn't have a choice (y/n), I understand that now..." You look at him to find him looking down. What does he mean now? Despite all the stories they've told you they didn't actually explain what had happened during that fight that supposedly gave you amnesia. Curious as you were you just left it be, he seems upset and you don't want to make him anymore upset. That's when you realized something. He was there with you the entire time, he had pulled up a chair and sat by you sleeping next to you till you had first woken up, he'd be the one you hung out with most. You remember Leo saying something about you being a sister to everyone except him, it intrigues you. You turn to him.

"Uh...Hey Raph? He looks at you.

"Yeah?" You look down.

"About what Leo said, about me being more than a sister to you...." You trail off and look at Raph to find his cheeks a slightly brighter shade of green. "Were we..?"

"Y-yeah...yeah were..." He explains quietly. It's silent for a moment and the Raph sighs. "I...I understand if you don't feel the same way anymore but-" he gets cut off when you had leaned over and pecked his cheek, even though you didn't really remember all the stories they had told you. You hung out with them enough in these few days to know that they truly were good people and they really did care about you. And judging by the stories themselves, all of you seem to have a pretty good life together.

"Well then, I guess I made a good choice for my boyfriend." You giggle. Raph looks at you smiling as he puts an arm around you and pulls you close.

"And I made an amazing choice for a girlfriend." He replies, you blush but snuggle closer into his plastron. The two of you then cuddle for a little while before getting interrupted by Mikey and finishing breakfast. As promised though, that night you went on patrol with them. With Raph's help of course. You dawn some gear and equip your (f/w) and you head off on patrol. You all figured it was just going to be a regular run, boy were you wrong.

"So, we did this every night?" Your ask perching yourself on the roof.

"Pretty much, most of the time nothin happens but we'ed get the occasional foot or Kraang stomping every now and again." Raph explains. You nod.

"Cool!" You and Raph smiled at each other. Raph then trails off and that question again surfaces in your mind. You walk over to Mikey.

"Mikey?"

"Yeah?"

"What exactly happened at the battle where I lost my memory? Do you remember?" Mikey suddenly gets nervous, he moves his eyes around for a second to make sure no one was looking.

"Y-yeah, I remember..."

"Well...what happened?"

"You, did something that Raph didn't like..." You tilt your head confused.

"What did I do?" You ask curiously. Mikey was about to say but then he had gotten cut off.

"Guys look!" Leo shouts, you all head where he is and find a considerably large group of foot.

"Think you can handle this (y/n)?" Donnie asks, you look at him grinning deviously.

"Yeah, I got this." You say with a smile. You and the others launch into battle. At first everything was going great until suddenly another mutant had joined the fray. Rahzar, all of you are getting worn out as it is, and by the looks of things he was just getting started. The fight raged on for a good minute or so when you find that Raph had been sectioned off and was face to face with Rahzar.

"Whats the matter? Mikey not good enough for you anymore?" Raph asks sarcastically as the two circle each other.

"No, I just remember that we had a score to settle!" Rahzar suddenly rushes him and the two get into a full fledged fight. At first it was fine but then Raph started losing. Badly. He was was getting knocked around, throw against walls. It was bad.

"Raph!" You call out as you "disassemble" a few bots at once. You both payed attention to the fight and fought for yourself best you could. Over all you were doing well. Compared to him at least. He was on the ground groaning in pain being too weak to get up even though he tried multiple times. Then you see Rahzar do something with his claws...like put something on them or something. You recognized it as poison with its slightly sticky consistency and purple coloring. Your eyes widen as he slowly walks toward Raph. You look to see that the others were busy so without thinking you throw yourself at Rahzar tackling him to the side. The two of you wrestle for a minute until he gets you. He digs his claws into your midsection slicing them as if they were butter. You gasp in shock and cry out in pain as the poison seeps into your body. You fall to the ground and Rahzar slips away before Raph could get up, which he did as soon as he had heard you.

"Oh no...not again...!" Raph mutters as he runs, his eyes widen and jaw drops as he sees you, blood soaking your clothes and pooling around your body. You were barely clinging to consciousness as you saw a blurred outline of him sink to his knees. "Please God not again!" He shouts. Leo had just finished the last footbot when he heard Raph yell, he and the others made their way toward him when they see you. They gasp. Donnie gets down and starts examining you, taking off his wrapping and putting them around your midsection to try and them the bleeding which you were doing a lot more than you probably should've been.

"They must've cut a major artery..." He mutters as he works. Eventually he had done all he could but you were still bleeding. Raph pick you up and holds you by the back of your head with his other arm supporting your back.

"What happened?" Mikey mutters quietly.

"She did it again...she did it again!" Raph shouts hanging his head. He looks at you. Your eyes half open. "Why..?! WHY DID YOU DO IT AGAIN?!?" He shouts shaking you.

"Raph clam down!" Leo exclaims, Raph shoots a glare at all of his brothers.

"And you..." He seeths. His brothers back up slightly. "WHY WERENT YOU WATCHING HER?! YOU SAID YOU WOULDNT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!" He shouts.

"R-Raph..." You mutter quietly, he and the others suddenly go dead quiet and look at you. You heard everything he had said. "I did it because...because I care about you..." You manage.

"B-but..." You weakly reach your hand up and grab his arm. He looks into your (e/c) eyes, tears threatening to fall from his.

"I did it because you are meant to keep going...you still need to be here to help protect your brothers and New York...."

"What about you...?" He whimpers quietly.

"E-everything...happens for a reason, though sometimes it's not very clear at first..." You suddenly see it, a light. And then like a film projector your memories of them were being played infront of you. All the laughs, all the joy, all the tears and sadness. It was so beautiful. You finally realized what you pave been missing. You slowly open your eyes to find everyone looking down at you, they were scared, sad, and some were angry...you had tears of mixed feelings in your eyes and you smiled slightly. "I remember now..." You mutter weakly.

"W-what do you mean by that (y-y/n)?" Don stutters trying to hold back tears of his own, you look at them. All of them they all were fighting back tears.

"I remember everything now...the adventures we had, the times we shared...those were some of the best years of my life..." You suddenly cough violently and blood trickles out, the turtles recoil and shutter in fear and disgust. "I-I'm sorry I couldn't remember sooner....I'm so, so sorry...I, probably caused you guys a lot of pain for no real reason...but at least I remember now and I won't die ignorant..." You whisper.

"No your not gonna die! Don't just quit on me like this!" Raph suddenly shouts. You look at him and giggle a little.

"I'm sorry Raph, I really am...but...I'm so, so tired..." Your whisper was getting quieter and quieter as your (s/c) pales. With the last bit of strength you have you lift your head up and give him one final kiss. "I'm sorry..." Your mouth barely shapes the words as you draw your last breath and your eyes close.....

"(Y/n)...?" Raph slightly shakes your shoulders. "(Y/N)?!?" He knew it, you were gone...he gently sets you down and slowly gets up walking over to the carnage of the battle you had moments earlier. His whimpers audible inbetween angry pants. He clenches his sai in his hands and he yells to the sky and starts even further dismantling the bots still on the roof. He was ferocious. Hot tears burning his eyes and cheeks blurring his vision as he ripped the bots to shreds. The others just hang their heads, Mikey sniffling as he throws his arms around Donnie as he starts crying quietly. Though the tears flowed freely for both Leo and Don, they choked back any noise they might have made. They needed to stay strong for their now broken brothers....
