What a thrill it was working with you on this. I guess we must have gone through another design past that second one (I think it was mainly the physical build of Cedric we negotiated on - he's an action hero who's just a little bit overweight) because the one you ended up drawing on the page was absolutely perfect!
I almost feel bad that we couldn't use the first one you did (giving him that kind of shape would have been a little bit TOO ridiculous for the physical stuff) because he looks absolutely hilarious, especially that view from the back.

Indeed. I really liked working with you on this story and Cedric is a very likeable character. And it was also a good exercice for me to work on a "big" character like him, I was used to draw small characters

I'm not gonna lie: about 98% of Sonic fan art makes me roll my eyes. Your gallery constitutes most of the 2% that doesn't.
I like how you translated the Sonic the Hedgehog style to an elephant while keeping him distinctly elephantine (too many other Sonic species end up lost in translation IMO.)
I also really like the facial expressions on the far right and left. He's fun to look at.
If I ever found the time and motivation to follow through, would you object to me making this guy into a 3D model?

Fear not, this Cedric is a good guy. In fact he's explicitly designed to be the best of the best. He's a character so unbelievably awesome, and so intrinsic to crucial events, you wonder why you've never heard of him before...

I remember this character from STC-O. It was an intersting strip but I always considered it seperate from the main STC universe.
