Thank you. This image took about 12 - 14 hours before it was 'done' and it was rendered on my outdated AMD PhenomII x6 system. I typically let renders run over night with that system, but I've since upgraded to an Intel i7 system and render times dropped dramatically with Lux Render.

I left a few overnight and they didnt seem to improve - then learnt about glossiness and specular lol - most recent post is my first final render with Lux ~4 hours i imagine.

The rate of improvement and time is related to the materials and lighting in the scene. The more complex the lighting and glossy/reflective/glass surfaces cause longer times for the image to 'clean-up'. Sometimes simple scenes don't take very long which is nice

This is simply breathtaking. Not because of the female either. The reflection, the focal range is perfect. Great realistic soft shadows. I bet this took a long time. Really well done. My hats off.
