The Great and Powerful Trixie versus Twilight Sparkle.EDIT: This was originally going to be a part of a comic I discarded. I may just turn it into a series of artworks. Or just do the comic. Stay tuned!
A sketch I did a while back, decided to finish it.
And tried to work on effects ( lighting and magic etc ).
There is still a lot of empty space... I need to learn what to put in them. This image was already cropped down.

WOW! This is PERFECT!
It shows a TON of emotion without a single word: Twilight clearly doesn't want to fight, but she's going to if Trixie doesn't back down - you can also tell this by the way she's using a defensive spell, probably so she could try to talk Trixie out of it, than going in for the kill.
As for Trixie? Gives me the shivers. Her face is perfectly contorted into a vengeful scream of pure rage. It's safe to say that she made the first move, attacking and forcing Twilight to bring up that dome spell.
Really, I don't have a single problem here, it's perfect. The shading is SO good that when I first saw it from a distance, I thought it used 3D models. Then I saw that it actually didn't, and my mind was blown.
