They say never meet your heroes, although I think if you told Soarin that, he'd been displeased! Here he is as a young colt flying with Spitfire for the first time, which comes from a little story of mine that takes place at a Wonderbolts opening day. (If you'd like to read it then click here: Future concerns ) Soarin is a huge fan of Spitfire and she is his favourite wonderbolt, when the young colt got the chance to get the autograph from her, he told Spitfire how much he liked her and how she was his favourite flyer. Spitfire was overwhelmed and offered a chance for Soarin to fly with her, of course Soarin accepted!

I love drawing pictures like these. I really just love drawing the wonderbolts and Spitfire is my favourite out of all of them (and she ranks 5th overall in my MLP character list as well). She's simplistic, and particularly I like drawing her with her mane down. Soarin looks okay, he's not amazing, but I don't think he looks terrible either. Also this is my first time drawing a colt! Really, I can't believe it either xD It's a lovely picture and you'll be seeing more Wonderbolt related stuff soon
