Inspired by a scene in the absolutely spellbinding "Let's Find You a Date!" by the awesome "soundslikeponies". You can find it here. And you really, REALLY should read it. It's one of the most entertaining, funny, sweet and well-written fics I've ever read! Seriously, it's like injecting liquid happiness directly into your veins~
I admit, the pic here might be a bit of a spoiler but, really...you can see it coming. And it's the journey there that makes it amazing.

Right, about the picture...
Took me forever to finish but it was rather relaxing and fun to draw. I could really lose myself in the process, focus on it for hours, just me and my pen :3
I'm also kinda surprised how well the most difficult parts - Twilight's pose, the kiss and Rarity's mane - turned out. Okay..."well"...but you get the idea. I was expecting a lot of troubles.
On the negative side, I don't like how "flat" it looks. My pictures just always lack a certain...spark. Some inner motion. And I just can't figure out what's missing. Also, the background is rather sloppy. But the scene required one, so I just tried my best

All in all, I guess I can count it as a success. The artistic value isn't too high and it doesn't look as good as it did in my head. But I didn't mess it up completely (at least not in a way I can see myself) and I had a very good time drawing it.

Right, about the picture...
