I like the idea your going for,
I know this is fan art,Β
But you still got something going hear.
Though, my only real problem with this, is the line art.
When it comes to printer paper, pens are needed.
You know what this drawing makes me think of?
Phantom of the paradise!

People often make a big deal over what pens to draw with.
I say it doesn't matter much.
Unless your making a black and white comic book, pens don't matter too much.

Hey!Β Β I found you through !
I like the concept here (and I love Soul Eater!). Some things that will instantly make your art look 5x better:
-use unlined paper
-use pen for lineart (or pencil crayon or whatever, just not pencil! ^^)
-take a nice photo. Try using a scanner if you have access to one, or just find a bright place and use some strategic cropping so we don't see the edges of the paperΒ Β )
Other than that, I suggest you take the time to add some shading and highlights. It'll really make him pop! Look up shading tutorials if you're not sure where to start. Also, softly but solidly layering that base color will help give your work some dimension.
The pose and expression is nice it just needs some definition. Try sketching people that you see in your free time to help build up your anatomy instincts.
The straight on angle is interesting, I would consider a 3/4 angle though as that tends to be the most dynamic angle. It really depends what you do with it though.
You drew Crona accurately or 'on model', so that's great to see. I also really like the lineart for the eyes.
Overall nice work, keep it up!
