I' ve been thinking of that scene where Ignitus dies... (video here ) His speech was very emotional and the scene itself, expect of Spyros reaction to it. It was quite flat and neither seem that the actor tried to get into more anger, fear, sad emotions. The developers screwed a very good chance of a great scene, but no.
Throwout my opinion they could give Spyro more desperate reaction, because Ignitus just died so... Β

The Legend of Spyro was an emotionally vapid series.
That's why, with Moheart7's permission, I want to write a Spyro story that is both dark and fun to read.

This should have been in the game, it has a far stronger impact in this art than it did in the actual scene of the game 
Spyro can totally let it go.
I agree they missed a huge chance to have such an emotional scene and I wish that they could have done it better, but it was still a great game and the characters were still great, if a little flatter than in the previous games. With so much development in the game format though, they probably had to cut a lot of time in scenes and work with what they had. Still a great game over all.
But you did capture the scene perfectly! I love it! I can feel and see Spyro's turmoil and Cynder's effort to comfort him... Really wish I could have seen this in the gameΒ Β Very well done!Β

Yes I couldn't agree more. This scene lacked enough emotion in the animation and the voicing to make the death of Ignitus really significant.Β Still a good scene though.Β
I quite like the detail in this drawing, especially the shading in Cynder's wings and the fire in the background is really good too.Β
