Puh, that was hard! I started to draw this Alice picture two months ago, and stopped so often to redrew certain elementsxD
I tried to care more about proportions and the pose of the character 'cause I really wanted to draw her in motion! Oh, and I would love to get feedback for the drawing!
Alice is also my personal symbol for fantasy. Thats why I decided to choose this quote. Reality can be very harsh and hurt a lot.
Imagination is my own engine, to get through life and to see colours in it. I don't want to know, how the world would be without any fantasy or imagination.

I think you definitely succeeded in drawing her midmotion! Your scene looks very magical, and I love the play of colour and contrast happening in the background -- it's really nice to look at!
