I like this. I like the way the composition leads you to the tower. Is this based on Space 1889 universe, because it reminds me of that.

Thanks! I don't recall thinking of Space 1889 when I was working on it but I do love that concept.
I think someone should make a movie about the Victorians trying to conquer Mars the way Europeans conquered the americas only the Martians turn out to be much tougher than the american natives.
All the Martian stuff could have a cool Aztec/Egyptian look to it.
A desert planet with huge canals bringing water from the poles to the cities.

No problem. A friend of mine loved Space 1889 RPG so I got told loads about it. Down to how they use liftwood for the ships and the fact that Mars has an atmosphere. Crazy stuff but very inspiring for art particularly if you want to be different to everyone else.

Thanks. The background is an actual photograph. I collaged the drawing onto it and the colors were pretty close so I only tweaked them a little. Sometimes my unintentional color combos are more unique than the planned out ones.

Thanks, The story with this one is that the figures are being chased and they come to this broken bridge, No way out! but there's an airship, it's old and rusted but it might be their only chance for escape!
