Description
Being a traveling merchant was hard enough. But having no wings too? Impossible. Each day was long and busy. Yeah it was a success, but it’s kinda lonely at times, even being surrounded by hundreds of sandwings and skywings still felt lonely.

“Excuse me?” A young sandwing snapped his claws in front of her face. She was ripped out her thoughts as she lazily looked at him.

“May I help you with anything?” She lightly hissed back, displeased of being interrupted with a very interesting conversation with herself.

“Are you Splash?” He asked nervously, picking up on her negative attitude towards him.

“No I’m not.” She said flatly. The sandwing looked down at a silver plate on her large cart and read the word ‘Splash.’

“Then why is your name right here?” He asked pointing to the plate.

“If you already knew my name, then why’d you ask?” She fired back at him. He curled his wings and tail closer to him submissively.

“S-sorry, but um,” He leaned in against the cart and towards her face. “The Talons of Peace believe you can help with a situation they are currently struggling in.” He whispered quickly into her large ears. She snorted thinking, ‘what could the Talons of Peace be struggling with so much that they need a simple merchant to help them.’

“You’ve got the wrong dragon.” She said trying to shoo the sandwing away. “Get lost.” Her words were sharp and quick while her gaze was empty and cold. He all of sudden built some confident though and kept a straight face, but on the inside he was trembling.

“D-don’t make me use force.” He stuttered out nervously. She whipped her head back around staring down the poor dragon, his bright blue orbs revealing all the fear he was holding.

“Excuse me?” She hissed, her forked tongue flicking out of her mouth.

“I, uh,” he fumbled over his words. He needed to choose his words wisely or he could be killed by this supposed to be ‘super happy and nice’ dragon.

“Who in Pyrrhia do you think you are?”
