Dax: Fast, you say? I may have to take that into consideration, but thunder and lightning I can handle........ *thinks out loud* ...I wonder if I could control it.... *out of thought* tell me... Yami, was it? How many times have you made someone feel death's embrace, if not felt it for yourself?

Yami: Yes, Yami. I've done it a lot, as a was an assassin before. I have not felt it yet.

Dax: *a big menacing grin spreads across his face upon hearing the word "assassin"* An assassin eh? *taps his chin in a curious manner* How very interesting~..... How do you feel when you take a life?

Yami: *lifts an eyebrow then shrugs* Nothing...I guess. I used to have no emotions, but as time flew, I got them, and well....*pauses then starts again* I don't really think about the past...I did kill two people known as parents....

Dax: Many dwell in the past, some ARE the past. Reflecting on those one has taken from this world and sent to the next, that is one way to keep the blood boiling. To me, guilt is just like the chicken pox, you only get it once then after a while it just goes away! Then all that is left in the insatiable desire to keep killing....... its only a matter of how one deals with it

Yami: I don't *shrugs* I learned from the past though. I used to have no emotions in killing, just cutting away, not caring about the blood spilled. I've learned that it brings to much sorrow, so instead of assassinating with the blade *pulls out her kodachi* I use the back, not sharp edge

Dax: *scoffs at her* pheh.... idealism is all that is. Humans would kill one another even if they made it so blades wouldn't cut, or of maces were soft, or if firearms merely shot liquids instead of projectiles. Your hypocritical method is pointless, for even without weapons humanity would still find ways to kill, our HANDS, our CRAFTS and ....eachother. For so long as 2 people are left on this planet, one will try to kill the other. Death is humanity's only salvation, for in death we are made equals..... all are mere CORPSES in the dirt and I shall be the herald of that fate. *holds up his hands which are now flowing with a blood-red aura* These hands...... even though you can't see so..... each finger is sharper than a razor! I've killed more people with my pinkie *holds out his pinkie finger mockingly for emphasis* than you and your blade have ever slain in your short life.....

Yami: *moves back a little and hold her kodachi tightly* Each person in different. True, killing is natural in humans, it has been. That's the truth. However, I prefer to believe in the weak idealism of not killing. Of weapons used to protect....I don't expect you to understand or believe me, but I said my part *returns kodachi*

Then let me ask you this... if someone threatened your life or the life of someone you held dear would you stick to your idealism and spare his or her life.... knowing that the assailant will just keep coming back until all is lost? I assure you...... its not that easy....... *his cocky tone sounds darker and more serious*

Yami: *closes eyes for a second then opens them* I wouldn't know how to relate to the "dear person" one, but if my life was threatened, I would try not to harm the person by either dislocating his/her arm and/or leg. However, if that person is too persistent...*eyes narrow* I shall let the assassin in me reign. Though I'd prefer not to....*trails off*

Dax: You'd be surprised just how persistent humans can be....... of course even the mightiest of warriors feel death's embrace eventually, some don't fear it, instead they welcome it *turns away in contemplation* .......... what if I told you there was a way to cheat death entirely......?

Yami: I don't fear it... Death comes sooner or later anyway. *closes eyes and then a black aura surrounds her* The darker my aura is, the more people I kill. Unfortunately, I've reached my limit for now. I can expand my limit though *smirks* A cheat? I don't believe in such...

Dax: *starts snickering to himself as he approaches Yami* You don't believe? *laughs more, finally in arms reach of her. He just stands there for a moment before suddenly jabbing his fingers into the side of her neck, a burst of the blood-red magic erupts from where his fingers touched her flesh, after the painful surge a strange marking is left on her neck* Believe it now....!

Yami: *doesn't feel much as she is used to it* I see now...*pulls out kodachi, using the bladed edge, coating it with shadows* You asked for it...*shadows covers the entire area*

*charges at high speed, then disappears in the shadows* *pops out behind Dax and slashes him*

Dax: *just stands there grinning, as if hes completely ignoring the fact his back is bleeding*

Yami: Masochistic? *grins* Hmph...*controls her shadows with her hand, enveloping Dax in shadows*

Dax: *looks around, inspecting the shadows surrounding him, his grin remains and eventually he starts snickering* Impressive...... *his snickering becomes mad giggling, his mad giggling became an insane chuckle, his insane chuckle became an evil laugh, he takes one look at Yami and points his index finger toward her, with his thumb extended to look like a gun, his grin almost instantly turns to a cold-hearted glare* ........Bang.. *a burst of his magic shoots from his finger like a bullet, the energy goes right into Yami's skull, exploding like a small but powerful bomb once deep enough inside* Now its time you believe...... *snaps his finger and something odd happens, Yami's lifeless body glows red and she is returned exactly the way she was before Dax's blast, the only difference: the memory of her death and the pain of the blast piercing her skull is still fresh in her mind yet she is unharmed* ....Now cease this pointless trifle and hear my message, child...... *his attitude goes back to his normal cynical tone* then do as you wish....

Yami: *blinks* Death....it can grant people's desires...but does it bring happiness to the person who was victimized? I DON'T THINK SO! *narrows eyes, but returns her kodachi and withdraws her shadows* My apologies for shouting *bows* What is is that you have to say?

Dax: *crosses his arms behind his back as he begins his questioning* 1st.... I want you to tell me about your experience....... with death for the 1st time

Yami: *sighs* I was raised as an assassin...I didn't know why, but I followed my parents...so yeah. My first encounter with death was when I did my first mission. I was to assassinate an ex-cop. He saw me and shot me in the stomach. It hurt at first, but later on, it was nothing. Then, I assassinated him out of anger....later, I found out that my parents were criminals. BAD criminals, so, well, I assassinated them. That was when I lost my emotions.

Dax: *appears to think for a moment, before nodding and moving along with the questions* You say you don't take lives anymore....... but if you HAD to... would you?
