HOLY CRUD IT'S DONE. FINALLY. I started working on this an eternity ago (or so it seemed) and I finally finished it tonight. The total time this took is crazy... 8-9 hours! With breaks, yes, but STILL. Without breaks this still took like 5 and a half hours of pure work! This is probably the hardest thing I've drawn and I am so glad I finished it.
Anyway... Thanks to a couple of my friends for giving me some inspiration!
DemonicTheEspeon gave me the idea to tint the wings purple
and
JaxHatesLife gave me the idea of gold trims and gold-tipped weapons
And also thanks to some Tumblr inspirations for miscellaneous design inspiration:

And if the text box is unreadable...
Key Traits and Information:
- He is the God of Death and, of course, also the ruler of the Underworld.
- He is the final judge of souls and, along with his other reapers, sorts souls into different parts of the Underworld.
- He has a dog. It's Cerberus (or THE Cerberus). The God of Life gave the puppy to him.
- He has had plently of time to sort himself out and while he may look intimidating, he is actually compassionate and friendly to those who return it. To those who don't? Well, then they should start to fear him.
- His reapers are his workers and are mostly souls he gave a choice: Be a reaper, or continue into the Underworld. There are also many different reaper ranks.
AND THE DIFFERENT REAPER RANKS (incoming loTS OF TEXT):
The ranks are as follows (lowest to highest):
Beginners/Lowest ranks
White: Every reaper starts out with a plain white robe and with few abilities other than being able to reap souls
White with tan trim: After doing well as a beginning reaper, they become a ‘first degree white reaper’ and are one step closer to moving up in rank
White with tan trim and a symbol: When reapers gain a robe with trim and a symbol (usually a skull but it can be different depending on the reaper’s personality and preferences are) they are very close to being ready to move up in rank for the work they are doing (they’re a second degree white reaper at this point)
Tan: A step up from white, tan reapers are granted a simple weapon (commonly a scythe but could be a spear or whatever) to protect themselves with or ‘aid’ them in reaping a soul
Tan with brown trim: As in the white rank, when reapers gain a trim, they are doing well and are a step closer to moving a rank up
Tan with brown trim and symbol: Again, like in white, this means that the reaper is doing very well and is almost ready to move up to the next rank.
Brown: Step up from tan, brown reapers can customize their weapon to fit them more and make it more interesting. They can also summon it and unsummon it at will.
Brown with white trim: This does not mean they are moving back to their white rank. Sometimes the trim will be a different color than the color they are moving up to (for aesthetic reasons) but any kind of trim is always a reaper moving up in rank.
Brown with white trim and a symbol: Same as the other ‘trim with symbol’ meanings (close to ranking up)
Intermediate/Definitely higher than a beginner but not an expert
Coral: A jump from being a beginner, coral reapers have shown that they are competent, obedient, and hard-working reapers and are allowed to teleport anywhere they desire as long as they adhere to ‘reaper law’ and still do their job (as opposed to all beginner levels that can only go where they are needed to do their job and have to stay in the reaper wards otherwise).
Coral with red trim: Same as the other ‘color with trim’ meanings.
Coral with red trim and symbol: Same as other ‘trim and symbol’ meanings.
Red: A step up from coral, red reapers are well aquatinted with how everything works and are not required to work every day as long as they still fill their ‘quota’ each week. They can also access more areas in the Underworld.
Red with white trim: Same as other ‘color and trim’ meanings (this is also Remnant’s rank).
Red with trim and symbol: Same as other ‘trim and symbol’ meanings.
(And now I’m gonna stop doing descriptions for each one unless they change and have new stuff)
Orange: Step up from red, orange reapers have the ability to sense those who are close to death around them and are allowed to reap said people if their time is extremely soon.

Advanced/Close to experts
Blue: A hop from the intermediate ranks, blue reapers are powerful and very good at, well, being a reaper. They have the ability to read someone's soul and be able to read their feelings and, in extension, emotions and thoughts. This makes them very hard reapers to trick.

Purple: A step up from blue, purple reapers have the distinct ability to tell whether someone is lying or being truthful, making them nearly impossible to trick. They are some of the most trusted reapers.
Purple with gold trim

Gold: Just as they sound, gold reapers are nearly like royalty to the other lower ranking reapers. They are the most trusted reapers other than the highest of the high ranking reapers and some of the most respected and admired. In addition, they are given the power to revoke a lower ranking reaper's status and turn them into just another simple soul and send them to the Underworld as a soul, no longer a reaper and no longer recognized as one.

Expert/Insanely hard to get to
Black: The universal color of Death, black is no doubt the hardest rank to get to and only a small handful of reapers have made it to be a black rank reaper. They have all the same abilities and powers of Death except they are still workers to Death and no one can be higher than Death. Death's cloak is also unique to himself, so no other reaper can have the exact same cloak as he does.
