It's 3 AM but I was determined to get this done! Once I am in the drawing mood and I got a groove going on, you can't stop me. xD
Anyway, I fell in love with Linkin Park's song "One More Light" because it's... I don't know how to describe it... Happy yet sad at the same time?
Well, I wanted to do a drawing on it since I first heard it a couple days ago and this started as a simple doodle, but I got in the groove and just kept going.
The shading is not very good, but I am happy with how it came out overall.
I used this tutorial to help me with the background and messed around with it a little to make it look more like a starry night sky.
Now, why use Coda? I thought about the lyrics for a while and it sounds like the person singing is trying to encourage someone who is sad, hurting, or depressed, and I thought Coda would be good since he's my little light in the dark and I could see him trying to make someone feel better by saying these lyrics.
