Imagine a world before mankind, or any ape for that matter. Imagine a world before placental mammals, grass, snakes, ants, or even birds. This world did at one point exist but what if it wasn’t quite how the fossil record remembers? Could there be ancient mysteries that were never meant for the eyes of man? If that world did exist perhaps somewhere out in the immensity of the universe it could have looked something like Triasslya.

The Phytaurus is one of the largest land predators of Triasslya. They are a species of Phytosaur either convergently resembling and or relating to Smilosuchus. These animals while capable in the water are surprisingly found often killing large prey outside the waters. These animals are heavily feared by Archenkin no matter how large, however shown here is a medium Archenkin race the Drepkin.

The Phytaurus despite being an apex predator is quite spread across the Archoson Country (land the three main Archenkin cohabitate within the eastern side of the Continental Mountain range). This is possibly due to their adaptability despite being such a large animal. Able to go without food for longer than most animals this size, they're very capable of traveling across wide swarths of dry land to new wetter ecosystems where they can be at home again. The Phytaurus is not the only Phytosaur in Triasslya but they are the most feared and well known amongst all the Archenkin.
