Update: I noticed a couple of the arrows were wrong, so I redid it and reuploaded this. It's always something, isn't it? You think you're all finished, you've carefully gone over it, and you still miss stuff. Usually I don't go back to fix little details that I missed, but that was a big problem in that it confused the story. Sorry about that!

Yeah - I got really sick in March with pneumonia and ended up in the hospital. It took months to recover. The pen was too heavy and my head was so foggy - I couldn't even draw. It sucked, but I'm back.
Oh, also - everything in my gallery is part of the same story, but I've never been great at telling a story in order. I find the basic shape of a story and then fill out vignettes. So even if this particular thread doesn't come up right away, you can find more of this particular comic here: INDEX: Chronological Guide to BELOW THE SURFACE I try to post at least weekly. I've only been doing drawing/comics for a year and a half, so I'm learning as I go and I'm still kinda slow - sorry.

I agree! My Chara has reasons for acting this way- she's not a mindless villain. Chara is a fascinating character to me, with deep painful issues and layered motivations. I've got a story mapped out for her. She gets to play antagonist a lot (like Asriel!) but healing and redemption are always possible.
