Real talk, though. Gore, monsters, weird things, unappealing, darker, unique things? They're my favorite things to work with. It comes from a long, storied history of growing up with zombie movies and horror games. Cute shit and pretty shit are great, too, don't get me wrong! I love tworking with those too, but I never get to draw things like this. Horror has always been one of my favorite subjects, and it's always a pleasure to draw things of that nature.
And THIS BOY? He's wonderful. He was so much fun to work with and design. I was given a lot of freedom, and was told to take inspiration from the creatures from Parasite Eve 2. I.e. Lots of gross, twisted, fleshy creatures with unnatural proportions and beady eyes. I tried to incorporate some of those signature elements, while giving him his own look. The last thing I wanted him to be was a cheap bootleg. Overall, I'm really happy with him, and Verm's choice of color palette I ended up really liking! Contrasting colors as always fun!!

Sorry, I'm just really happy with this gross monster boy, and I really hope to do more things like this in the future.

To get put on my list, I ask for a small percentage of the full commission's price, normally $3 - $5 USD, depending on how much the piece costs. I ask for 50% before I start the sketch, and the rest of the payment can be sent before I start coloring. This way I don't have to worry about holding onto someone's money while I work on other commissions.
All prices are in USD, but if you'd like me to convert the price to a different currency, I'd be more than happy to.
