My second piece for the "Berry-Tastic!" fanzine.

As stated in the submission of the last piece, I was initially brought on to the project as a merch artist, and my first goal was to make a series of stickers based on Strawberry Shortcake's accessories over the years, and one based on her and her friends' pets, as the zine wasn't meant to just center around her, after all.
At first, I was only going to draw Pupcake and Custard, but I was having so much fun with the style I was using for this piece that I just decided to draw the pets of the major cast from te 2003 iteration of the cartoon. This eentually evolved into making wallpapers with these drawings, and eventually this page.

Did you know that photoshop has a file size limit? I certainly didn't! Because I tend to put my drawings as merch in my redbubble store, I tend to draw on large canvases and make large designs. That said, the pets were all drawn on a... 7000x7000px canvas? Yeah, I'm nucking futs, I know. Even after being resized, the first version of this picture was waaay to big to be exported from photoshop. Guess I should start scaling down my drawings a bit, lol.

Also, about that merch-- This full iluustration, Custard, Pupcake, and Marmalade butterfly are all available on shirts, phone cases, mugs, prints, and more. The rest of the pets, including Sourball skunk, Shoofly frog, Apple Ducklin', and Vanilla icing lamb are just available as stickers.
