She told me I had made the right choice; that I was on the right path.

Just a little something I thought of a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile ago when I first came to that scene in FFXIII-2 where Hope told Serah and Noel that Lightning came to him in a dream and told him that.
I squealed. HopexLight ftw<3
So yeah, Hope's sleeping in his little time capsule well, at least pretend he's in one lol and Lightning's faded because she's not physically there, it's just a dream. And I think he said he could only hear her voice, too.
Asdfdjkslds those details on Lightning's armor T^T So many ;A;
I really gotta stop drawing so much FFXIII / FFXIII-2 xD It takes up more than 1/4 my gallery lolol. But don't worry, I'll always come back to it ;D

The question here is, does Hope have not Light-involved dreams? [?] >D
So... I don't quite remember the moment Hope said so. I've not arrived to Academia 4XX AF yet, so I'm not sure. Did it happen during his slumber in the Time Capsule? It's really cute, then. I remember Hope mentioned he made the choice because he had no one left back in his time... which it's not exactly true. Hope didn't know about Snow and Sazh, so, unless he supposed they were trapped in time, he could have thought they were still in his time. But, you know... Hope knows how to disguise his love for Light quite well. I mean, I think he chooses his words carefully for not giving any hint -we play as Serah; imagine how awkward would Hope feel if he revealed his feelings to Light's younger sister-, but sometimes he slightly fails at hiding it. That I want to say is Hope's main goal is meeting Light again, but he uses Fang, Vanille and the New Cocoon as an excuse for all his self-sacrifices. I'm not saying he doesn't want to save them, but... you know what I mean, right? [?] xDU
So Light told him he had make the right choice. Quite interesting. She just warned Snow and Sazh about the dangers incoming, she didn't encourage them. She did it only to Hope. Light's still watching over him. Well, if that's not another Hope/Light hint, I'll eat my PS3. [?] *w*
Hey... Hey. Hey! HEY! Did Hope mention he only could hear her voice? All the others saw her in their dreams! So Hope's the only one who didn't see her?! That's not fair! But this highlights how special and unique is Hope and Light's relationship again! Now I'm sure, Square-Enix is planning some kind of great-reunion-scene for these two. [?] <3 <3 <3
Anyways. They look so adorable... Oh, Light melts every time she glances at her dear Hope. I wonder if she really knows he's a twenty-four-year-old genius now. Well, she has to know, but I mean, has she saw him all grown-up? She said she could see everything from Valhalla, but there's a difference between "see" and "observe". [?] xD
Hope looks like he's blushing a bit. How cute. I'd bet that was a bittersweet dream for him. He could hear that beloved voice again, speaking to him so proudly, but he couldn't reach her, not even see her! That's... heartbreaking. I want to cuddle Hope. [?] TwT

Ahh yeah, he said it in Academia 4XX AF, so I guess that's why. And yup, he said she came to him in a dream while he was sleeping in the capsule. It was so cute, I totally fangirled lolol xD Yeah, but maybe he thought they weren't going to come back or he wouldn't see them for a while anyway cuz he hadn't seen them once in 10 years? Idk lol but at least he's with us now xD Haha yes, he does! He's quite the good actor ;D But pshht, everyone slips once in a while, especially when Hope loves Light so much. He just can't contain it all xD And yeah, I know what you mean :3

Yeah I'm pretty sure he said he could only hear her voice. I went to the scene to check if my description was accurate before submitting my art, and he said that he could hear Lightning talking to him, and that he was positive it was her voice. If he actually saw her, he wouldn't need to say that he was positive it was her voice. So yeah, I guess he could only hear her voice ;^; Buut maybe she didn't want to see her blushing or something while she was telling him he was on the right path *7* Maybe she just couldn't face him while saying that because she loves hiiim~! Haha and they better! xD

Or maybe Hope's concern about Snow and Sazh is nothing compared to his concern about Light. That's a more convincing hypothesis. [?] >D
I'm sure Hope learned how to control his emotions thanks to Light. Do you remember?, she said it to him at the Gapra Whitewood, when he was about to help some PSICOM soldiers dead in the floor. But, you know, Hope's not as stern as Light. He still has to improve at doing so. >)

Well, canonically, we can't be sure about Light's feelings. Hope's are canon, or practically canon. She says the word "hope" quite frequently, though. Asfghjk, it's her final word before she crystallizes. I fangirled so much at that point. <3
As I've said before in some drawing of you, I'd give everything for watching Light's face at the moment of the reunion. Well, yeah, from her point of view since Valhalla's timeflow is distorted, Hope became an adult -a pretty awesome, badass, adult genius- of a sudden. But he has been waiting for her for ten years! Did I have mentioned how much I love the story between these two? It's so sweetly dramatic! [?] <3 <3 <3
Hope's the only one of his former companions who is completely alone. Lightning too, in a sense, since now she has lost Serah. That has to mean something! [?] OwÓ
Talking about their reunion... I'm working in a comic of their hypothetical reunion in XIII-3. Of course, it won't be a funny comic. I'm just using the comic structure for illustrate it. I suck at drawing Hope and Light, but I still want to do it. *w*

Ah, yes I remember that! I actually felt kinda bad about those guys just laying there. Hope was thinking exactly what I was back then. But then Light was all like "suck it up" and I and I guess Hope, too xD was just like "okay ;v;"

Yeah, she's really good at controlling/hiding her emotions. But I bet it's totally true ;D <3 I actually didn't get to see it yet because I have FFXIII-2 on Xbox and I need microsoft points to buy the DLC of Lightning's episode, but asdfghjklkjhgfds I need it so baaaaaad now ;A; They should have had a Hope episode lol. Oooh maybe it could have been how he was doing as he was growing up from 14 to 24! That would've been cool *7*

Even though Hope grew into a strong person in battle, I think he refused to harm people anymore when he joined the Academy. He was trying to protect everyone, just like Lightning tried to do from Valhalla. And both failed in that. They couldn't protect the people they loved. And now we have uncovered another hint! [?] <3
Actually, they planned to do a Hope DLC episode. It was going to take place in Augusta Tower and based on Live Triggers in order to prevent Alyssa from killing Hope. But they scrapped it! That's unforgivable. Hope's the only one of them who hasn't any DLC. They HAVE to give him something good in the sequel in exchange. [?] >)
Now we have just to wait! Square-Enix is gonna display a Final Fantasy stage in 1st September titled "Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation." SOMETHING BIG'S COMING! Start praying! Fortunately, the Hope/Light fandom in Japan is quite popular, or so I've heard. And the developers work so hard in both Light and Hope's character development. I love them as characters, and Noel too, he's one of the best videogame characters I've ever seen! *w*
I'm glad you liked it! It's hard for me, but I love this couple too much. That's why I keep trying! We should welcome a Final Fantasy XIII-3 with loads of Hope/Light drawings! Maybe we can convince the developers that way about it! [?] <3
