There was something shining in the woods. It frightened him, yet, at the same time, it's warmth seemed so welcoming and familiar. The merchant turned to reach for it- yet, with a flurry, it was gone, far into the shadows into the unknown!

Main character for a story concept I've had for awhile. It's a historical story for my fictional world about a fox. I won't say much more right now, as if I complete it it'll be spoilers. I'm considering making a relatively short comic with it, but that's all in the future while I develop it a bit better.
