This song just reminds me so much of Eponine and Marius. Poor Eponine was always so close to Marius, but he never realized it until it was too late.
By the way, Marius is holding the 'Ursula' handkerchief, for those who haven't read the book (Sure, it was actually Valjean's hanky and not Cosette's, but we'll let Marius keep dreaming, huh?

Aw, thank you! For him, I basically use his description from the book (though I make him a little chubby, even if he's meant to be this poor, awkward, starving kid), but I can't help but add Eponine's hat and coat from a lot of the musical versions, haha. Someday, I might do a book version of her. In fact...I think I will.
