Description
For those of you non-Americans who don't do research, here's some explanation.
These two fellers are Dash (the boy) and Dot (the girl). On this day, in 1999, they became the mascots of the children's channel PBS Kids (the channel that was responsible for shows like Sesame Street, Arthur, Dragon Tales, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and... Caillou... (shutters)), until they were replaced in 2013 with these three bozos named Dot, Dee and Del. bento.cdn.pbs.org/hostedbento-…
So yeah, if you were an American lad who didn't have cable (or did have cable that came with PBS Kids) and you grew up with PBS Kids, chances are you loved these guys. And since it's the 20th anniversary of their debut, I figured it be nice to make a nice lil' tribute drawing to these two big lugs.
So yeah, happy 20th anniversary, PBS Kids!
