Some info on my OC for the competition:

Name: Timothy 'Tim' Thompson
Age: 29
Eye Colour: Green
Hair Colour: Light brown
Skin Tone: Caucasian / white
Personality: A very outgoing and confident person, but sometimes this causes people to think he's cocky. Sometimes his anger can get the better of him, however he is rarely violent. Tim has been called a workaholic numerous times.
Brief Background: He was born in Portland, Oregon. At the age of 13 his mother died of cancer. After graduating high school he joined the police and became a patrol officer. He left the police force and joined 'the team' (The team in the story, I don't know what they will be called).

The view from the ski resort was amazing. Snow covered mountains and hills with skiers dotted around them. The sky was clear and blue. It made Tim feel calm, exactly what he needed. Sometimes he had to admit that he worked to hard and this was the perfect opportunity for him to relax. Just as he sat back in his chair, Tim remembered the paperwork that he had left at home.

'Damn it! That paperwork was meant to be finished two days ago!'

He put his head in his hands and tried to calm down. Then he remembered why he was at this ski resort in the first place, to get away from it all. To help him relax and forget about his worries. It wasn't easy, especially considering how important work is to Tim. Work was really the only thing keeping Tim going. Work and family, well, what was left of his family. His father worked hard, always worried about work. That was before Tim's mother became ill. He always used to work hard.

Tim sighed and reminded himself why he was there:

'I need to relax, not worry about work. That's why--'

Tim was cut off by his phone ringing. He looked at the caller ID, it was the bureau. Great, probably a new case. Tim takes a break, tries to get away for just a week, and then the bureau comes calling.

'Agent Thompson speaking.'
'The bureau will need you to be here as soon as possible.'
'What for?'
'Something important has come up and the team are meeting here tomorrow at 8. Can you make it?'
'Probably not. I'm at a ski resort, I'll have to try and get a flight tomorrow.'
'Try and get here as soon as possible.'

Tim closed his phone and walked towards the large window. He looked out at the spectacular view and sighed.

'I'll never be able to get away from work.'
