Presenting, Belladonna, the worst mother out of all the Queens of Mewni!
Yes, the necklace mirror is the wand.
Belladonna grew up with her mother's love and support, but the disdain of the nobles, this led to her insecure and doubtful nature and her desire to control others and what they said and thought. The way she was treated by others in her youth also led to her uncaring behaviour towards others later in her life.
The poem references her most well known spell, that allowed her to view the true thoughts and intentions of others through her 'mirror' wand. (If you're wondering why the mirror of the wand isn't reflecting anything... that's because it's not actually a mirror )
Her constant lack of care for anyone but herself led to the people in her life distancing themselves from her, hence the inspiration for this tapestry, her all alone (omitting Glossaryck) in a dark room. The blue border round the mirror isn't a wall or anything, it's just a border for the mirror.
