Her name is derived from "Callidus" a Latin word for "clever".
The daughter of Bellatia and Platinum Stone, she was given the enormous task of reforming the relationships with other kingdoms that her mother's reign had strained. She also had to win back the trust of the Kingdom's people, as they still feared Bellatia and by extension Callidia herself. Callidia also made reforms to the Kingdom's economy, which would later be undone by the Queens of the Fallen Age.... but that is another story . She married Spruce Forest and gave birth to Noctia, the Graceful.
