My boyfriend and I were at a Hotel right now. He said his friends were here for a type of meeting. This happened about two or three times a year when they all got together. But since it was our two year anniversary he took me with him. Though at first I thought it would be just me and him. All alone in the room, all weekend. But that’s not the case. But we still made the best out of it.

We had just had supper and went back to our room. He pressed me up against our door and I ran my fingers threw his ebony colored hair. His hair was so soft, as was his skin. He was usually up on a mountain so he wasn’t in polluted areas and had the nice cold air.

We pulled back and I stared into his red eyes. The eyes I loved so much. People said they were emotionless, cruel, dull and boring. No. They were wrong. Dead wrong. Those eyes were filled with love. They comforted me when I was sad. They made me laugh when I was depressed. They were so full of life.

Just listen to me. It sounds like I was obsessed with him and could go on talking about him for hours. I honestly was and could. Red was my world now. He saved me from a lot of pain and heartache.

You see we’ve been friends since we were little. I met him on my journey. We would often travel together often. So I’ve known him for well over ten years now. It wasn’t until an accident when I visited him on Mt. Silver, that we agreed to go out.

He saved me from death when I fell down into a hole. He saved me and then he cried over me. I told him to calm down and much after that was a blur. But I remember falling asleep on him and then I woke up to him kissing me. And the rest is well history.

I smiled at Red. “What?” he asked softly. He rarely talked anymore and I was fine with that. But I did love his voice. His deep voice drove me crazy. He knew that and used it to his advantage.

“It’s nothing,” I said. “I just realized how in love I am with you.” He blushed and looked away. He was nervous and it was so cute. I got closer and said, “We should go inside now.”

He started to kiss me softly. Though it didn’t last long at all. Red had reached for the doorknob to my right when we heard a male voice. “Hey, Red!”

“Shut up, that may not be him,” another man said. Red backed off to see three men. Two brunettes, one had brown eyes and the other green; and a greenette with green eyes. They were fairly attractive but not as much as Red.

“Hey, Red,” the brunette with green eyes said. They almost looked like emeralds. Red just nodded. Like I said he didn’t talk much and what I’ve noticed with Delia, his mom, is that Red spoke the most with only me. “So this must be (Name), right?”

“Oh, H-Hi,” I said. “Yeah I’m (Name). Nice to meet you.”

“Nice to meet you. I’ve wanted to meet you for awhile. With Red and Gramps speaking of you. I’m Green. Green Oak,” he said. “Red’s best friend.”

I’ve heard a lot about Green. Green was Red’s rival. They got over their rivalry years ago and Red, if he stayed down from the mountain, went to Green’s apartment to spend the night. They had a weird relationship but they got over it and were best friends now. Red would often cry over Green. Wishing he could have been a better friend to him.

I smiled. “I’ve heard a lot about you, Green,” I said. “It’s nice to put a face to a name.”

“Yeah I know what you mean,” Green said. “Oh, this is Black and N. Anyway Red, we need to talk.”

He sighed and then looked at me sadly. Like saying he wanted to say, ‘I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you I promise.’

“Do you think I could borrow Red for a little longer and then you guys can talk?” I asked.

“Sure. But we need to talk within the hour it’s important,” Green said.

I smiled and then said, “Alright.” I unlocked our door and took Red inside. I took him over to the bed and had him sit down. I sat on him and kissed him.

He was caught off guard because he knew I knew he had to leave soon and I didn’t want him to go. He wrapped his arms around me and then laid down.

I got off of him and moved my hair back. I looked back in his eyes and he looked like he was in pain. I put my finger on his lip. “No need to get greedy. You can have all you want when you come back. Besides we knew we couldn’t spend that much time together.”

“But,” he said. It was bad his voice alone gave me a chill that went down my spine.

“Shh,” I said. “It’s fine. Just hurry back.”

He looked down and then back at me. He sighed. “Alright,” he said. “Just don’t stay up too long.”

“Alright,” I said. I got off of him and he sat up. Then he stared at me. “What?”

“I don’t want to go,” he said plainly. “I’d rather cuddle with you.”

I grabbed his arm. “I know. Just do what you have to and come back. But it is good to spend time with your friends. So have fun.”

“Alright,” he said and then he left.

Since he was gone I took a shower. After that I went to watch TV. (Favorite show) was having a marathon so it wasn’t all that bad.

Then my phone went off. I saw it was Red. ‘I wish I was there with you.’ His text said.

I smiled. ‘Me too. But are you at least having fun?’

‘Yeah. But I promised you we’d spend time together.’

‘It’s fine. We see each other every weekend. Just have fun.’

I got nothing for a few minutes. ‘It’s hard to. I don’t know how to talk to them anymore. What do I talk to them about?’

‘Well what are they talking about?’ I asked.

‘Girls. Sex. Stuff like that. I don’t feel comfortable talking about you like that.’

‘It’s alright to I mean that’s what guys talk about.’

Then my phone went off. He was calling me. I turned off the TV and then answered it. “Hey,” I said.

“So then you do exist,” a voice said. “Whoa calm down Red. I just want to talk to her. What’s your name?”

“(Name) and this is?” I asked.

“Gold. You do sound kind of hot. How hot, Red?” he asked.

“Hey, leave Red alone,” I said.

“Ooh, she just yelled at me,” he said. Great he was drunk. He had to be. “This is kind of hot.”

“Stop,” I heard Red’s voice say softly. “Stop it.”

“Well then you know I like a girl who yells at me,” Gold said.

“I said stop!” Red said. He actually yelled. I was in awe. Red never yelled. I heard muffled sound and then after awhile I heard, “I’m sorry, (Name). Gold is an idiot.”

“It’s fine, Red,” I said.

“No, it’s not. I know he would have went farther but . . . I can’t stand him doing that. Not to you.” Aww. He was being so cute right now. “(Name)?”

“Huh? Yeah,” I asked. “Sorry I was in a daze.”

“Can you let me in? I forgot my key,” he said.

“Oh,” I said. I hung up and then went over to the door and I let him in. He looked so stressed and depressed. “Red? Are you alright?”

“No,” he said and then went inside. He sat on the bed and held his head. Pika came running in and went to the chair. Which had his makeshift bed on. He didn’t like sleeping with Red when I was around.

I closed the door and went over to him. I rubbed his back. “Something else happened didn’t it?” I asked.

“Yeah. Before Gold called you he went threw my phone and started making fun of every little thing under your name,” he said. He moved so he could put his head on my lap. I ran my hand threw his hair.

Red hated to be made fun of because he wasn’t used to it. So teasing was always making fun of him. Gold probably was teasing him.

He snuggled my legs. “Ahh, Red,” I said. He pushed me down and then got on top of me. “R-Red?”

He smiled and then started an attack on my lips. He licked my cheek and then backed off. “Lick attack was super effective,” he said.

“No fair,” I said.

He got off. “So fair,” he said.

After that we cuddled and went to bed. Red was romantic but he didn’t want to have sex. I knew that. He just wanted to be held. And I was up for that. I loved when Red held me. Nothing could hurt me. Nothing. A raging Dragonite could come in and I knew I would be safe.

“I love you, (Name),” he said softly.

“I love you too, Red,” I said.

Then sleep embraced us both. We fell asleep and we didn’t wake up until vary late the next day. And that day we spent all day together.
