Description
The Koboldites are a large cavern dwelling flying species. Their large wings are perfect for soaring through the wind sculpted caves of their homeworld. While the central mass of its body has a solid bone skeleton, the structure becomes more and more flexible the farther away from the central mass it is located. The tips of the wings, limbs and head all have flexible cartilage like skeletons. The heads “two” mouths are the fusion of its tongue into an additional jaw, an adaption member of the species find attractive. While their head does contain a small brain dedicated to eyesight, their main brain is in their midsection where their strongest bones are.

Their sense of smell is extremely lacking as they do not have specialized structures for the detection of smells, instead using the lining of their mouths. Along their underside they have 3 pairs of retractable tentacles for manipulation of objects. These limbs are not strong enough to lift large objects, so the middle pair of limbs is used while the wing pairs become used for locomotion. Their lidless eyes are adapted for much darker spaces, so they tend to wear shades or related eye coverings when traveling off world. Their method of communication involves deep ultra-low vibrations when communicating over long distances, to loud whooping sounds over short distances

Native to Famagon space, they use their extensive knowledge of cave systems to search out mining materials on many different planets. As they are very creative, they come up with and integrate many new product ideas into their job systems daily, making paperwork a nightmare. Off world Koboldites often have much jewelry gifted by their families that remain home.
