this is great. What is really amazing is all of the detail. How it contrasts so much and the little bitty bits of color (the light blue and the red) I'm sure it is meaningful as to where they are located and that is beautiful. It is great that you can express yourself in this way. It looks like you know a lot more about yourself than most.

thank you, especially for that last sentence-- that's a high compliment. i should tell you that the color is a happy accident-- i was experimenting with color fills in my crappy Paint program and i didn't manage to erase all my discards.

Wow. This is a really nice design. I like your line art style, the blending of angular lines with smooth, curving ones has a wonderful flow to it.
I like your concept on an inner-spirit portrait. Kind of makes one think about themselves on a stronger level.
Personally, I think it's beautiful. Demurly demonic, but just because of the sharp angles. It also looks like you blended two species together: faery and dragon.
The head has a vague dragon-shape to it while the body, willowy but strong would be that of a faery.
Great design.
I love the feel it gave me. I like it when someone's work really has me look at it and take the time to think in more ways than one.
