A lot of you have noticed I have been extremely distressed recently, and here's the reason. I wanted this to be done first before I told you, so here it is.

Around 6am this morning (14 hours ago) my pet cat Tiger had passed away, peacefully in her sleep. It had destroyed me for a long while, and it's still really painful as I type this up. She had lived a long and healthy life, we had her from 2007 to 2022.

She was a few weeks old when we adopted her, so that means she did reach 15. This also means I was 5 when we had her, so she was a childhood pet for me, which is exponentially devastating to me.

Tiger lived a near perfect life. Not once was she ill, or wounded to the point she needed to be taken to the vet. She was almost always near me, constantly sleeping on top of me for most nights (up to until her old age).

Rest in peace, Tiger, you were in a great place, but a better place awaits you. My home feels so much more empty without her now. I will never, never, live this down.
