Do either of these look better? I don't want to push it too far since it'll start to make the hair look wet or filled with gel or something.

It's just, I'm not sure the kind of texture of hairs on a big mesh is working. Maybe it should have less bump, sleeker but with the two tones of colors like in the show to make it less "blocky" ?
It works better on the tail.

I'd like to look into doing that sometime in the future, but right now I can't. I need to spend more time developing this specific model first before I'd be ready to do anything like that.
