a really nice flower, great focus, good scenery overall... It's a good shot - but if you want to become a real pro photographer, you must not follow rules of photography - like that the object must be in the middle of the shot and so on... photos like this have been made thousand times before - and if you want to make something special, you must experiment... try using different angles, try thinking out different exposure (maybe the flower would look great if it was overexposed? who knows? you can, try it next time

I'm trying to gain some ideas for more interesting shots like you say, I don't want to just keep churning out the same type of photos week after week.
