Oh god. American Idol. I loved the first couple of seasons, but now it makes me want to claw my eyes out, so that sentiment is mutual.
I probably only listen to 1 pcnt at best. The Melvins, ( old ) Metallica, Train, Kansas, Journey, The Beatles, The Dropkick Murphys, Lindsey Stirling, The Cranberries, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and the Styx are my primary go tos. Ha. I listened to a bit of The Royal Concept and We the Kings; neither are all that bad live, surprisingly. ( Given that they haven't been around as long as some others I listed. )

Youtube is pretty good for finding that kind of stuff. I've found a LOT of great groups on there.
