"Richard. a name that nobody would bat an eye, but add in the shades, the pin, and people keep distance from. Being under the organization I.P.R. (Inspect-Purge-Restore), his job is to investigate and infiltrate any officials that would abuse their power for their own good along stabilizing peace by any means necessary.

The I.P.R. was established in 1751 T.C. after The Contrast War against Eqo, an international organization that was originally supposed to be a united force to form relationships between species. However in 1601 T.C. - 1750 T.C. there were heavy pushbacks, and after an unwarranted invasion against a inhabited micro-nation this lead to a purge against Eqo. After stripping its power and investigating its files, they would discover certain officials in the Inkling nation coordinating these invasions and would aid their mission. To prevent any bad actors and future scrutiny, they would form the I.P.R. an organization outside of military and government official influence. Dictated under a set of strict laws, their main mission is to investigate and find any problematic members that may perform unorthodox actions such as arms dealing, trading secrets, and installing laws that would benefit just them. Not much is known about their operation and their main headquarters remains top secret. What is known is these agents would usually appear as normal citizens and would rent out offices and residential to blend in the crowd while they do their surveillance. The only time they would make themselves known is when they're ready to raid. Usually witnesses would keep their distances or knew something bad is going to happen. While their main intention is to arrest the perpetrator, however most would choose the hard way.

As for Richard, he originally came in just seeking employment. After knowing more about the organizations and slowly climbing the ladder, he would find himself being assigned to raids and other missions. While most people have their reasons in sticking around the occupancy, Richard's answer is simply wanting to try something different. Most people tend to think Richard has some secret intention or maybe trying to achieve a higher positions, however in the end he seems to find something that won't bore him. In fact, usually after shifts, he would just dash out and not hang out with any of the co-workers. Nobody knows what drives Richard, and what does he really pursue, and maybe he doesn't know either..."
