You know I'm sick of people especially kids who say games like Mario or Sonic are "childish" and that games like Minecraft,Angry birds,Call of Duty are so awesome. Really? You have to be pretty stupid to think that. Games like Mario,Shantae,Sonic,Super Smash bros.,actually have originality. Just because these games are mostly going towards children doesn't mean it is. You'd be surprised of how many teens and adults who still play Nintendo,SEGA,etc. It's also annoying how they say that Xbox One or PS4 are for "hardcore gamers ". Nintendo games are made for everyone! Rated E means for EVERYONE! Not babies. STOP BEING A NOOB AND PLAY REAL GAMES!! NOT THAT CALL OF DOODOO CRAP!!I'm 18 and I still play games like Mario,Sonic,Kirby,Shantae,Megaman,etc! What now Xbox One f@#$ and PS4tards!!I've noticed there are some stamps like this I want to make one because the message needs to get out there.

I RARELY or ever get told that Nintendo is childish and not part of the gaming community. Ever since the Switch came out, Nintendo is being accepted into the gaming world more. Sure, it's still more Xbox and PS4 people. But look at how popular Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is! If anything, PC and Mobile gamers get more shit. It's for EVERYONE, so yeah... College students and up to thirty-year-olds probably play that stuff, who knows?

Classifications exist for unlimited reasons; meant to be for a specific audience. If it's for everyone, it's meant for all ages to play it (unless they're E10+... that is something else). Even though, I'm not gonna offend you, but Super Smash Bros Melee and Super Smash Bros Brawl are T-rated, even though they're made by Nintendo. It was until Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U, both being E10+.
I have always been a Nintendo console person, and I practically do not mind Sony or Microsoft's consoles. But this doesn't mean I will call them "just for adults" (because of most of those games being M-rated. Yes yes, I do know about E or E10+ games for those consoles...). I do respect Playstation and XBOX, though.

I'm sure most people who consider those games "childish" are probably douchey 25-year-old men who think that every game that isn't Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto is "childish".

It annoys me that people would consider games with a more cartoony art style "childish". It's part of that "Animation Age Ghetto" that I despise with a fiery passion, the mindset that "cartoons are for kids". People who actually believe that can kiss my ass.
Me, personally, "hardcore" games like Call Of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Half Life, Halo and Assassin's Creed don't interest me in the slightest. I love games that have a more cartoon/anime based aesthetic and/or have some humor to them. Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Mega Man, Crash Bandicoot, Legend Of Zelda, Mega Man, Banjo-Kazooie, Shantae, all those game series and more have much more imagination and charm to them than a fraction of the FPS/AAA/most of whatever's considered HOT games that are out there. Heck, even games like Portal and Team Fortress 2 seem to offer more than what Call Of Duty or the like does, because all things considered, they at least have a sense of humor.
