You know I'm sick of people especially kids who say games like Mario or Sonic are "childish" and that games like Minecraft,Angry birds,Call of Duty are so awesome. Really? You have to be pretty stupid to think that. Games like Mario,Shantae,Sonic,Super Smash bros.,actually have originality. Just because these games are mostly going towards children doesn't mean it is. You'd be surprised of how many teens Β and adults who still play Nintendo,SEGA,etc. It's also annoying how they say that Xbox One or PS4 are for "hardcore gamers ". Nintendo games are made for everyone! Rated E means for EVERYONE! Not babies. STOP BEING A NOOB AND PLAY REAL GAMES!! NOT THAT CALL Β OF DOODOO CRAP!!I'm 18 and I still play games like Mario,Sonic,Kirby,Shantae,Megaman,etc! What now Xbox One f@#$ and PS4tards!!I've noticed there are some stamps like this I want to make one because the message needs to get out there.

This is so dead-on accurate, it hurts.
These game series are definitely nowhere near childish. In fact, a lot of them have instances where they have a much deeper meaning to them outside of just shooting things and collecting shiny treasures. I certainly don't see great story or character development or even unique gameplay in a game series like Call of Duty in which it always seems to be shoot everything that moves. Not only does that make for a very stale experience, there's also nothing I find interesting about the series at all. I can't get into something where the gameplay is so repetitive every game that comes out and I don't feel a connection to the characters at all. That's pretty much why I enjoy playing series like Sonic, MegaMan, Zelda and even Kirby so much. Always will too.

Your welcome and I feel the same way. Especially about not just Call of Duty, but most FPS(First Person Shooters) because they are all the same thing just with a different shade of paint and some guns and bam you got yourself a good ol copy and paste FPS.

I know. I think out of every FPS I've ever seen, the only two that really held my interest were Borderlands 2 and that new one, Overwatch.
I played a little of Borderlands 2 with my brother when we were a little younger. I quite liked the style of it and the quirkiness of the characters in how they seemed to show a lot more personality than most characters from other FPS games that I've seen. Heck, I even liked that little robot character (I forgot what his name was), despite the fact that he was designed to be so irritating, but he was irritating in a GOOD way that was hilarious to me. Plus, the main villain of the game was a riot. Almost everything he said made me laugh.
As far as Overwatch goes... Well... Just look up some of the trailers and gameplay videos of it. You'll see what I mean...

Ugh... This brings me back when I was in middle school. ,_, I fully admitted that I liked games like Jet Set Radio, Mega Man, Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, etc. I was SHUNNED so much by a ton of "kool kidz". Most people played GTA, COD, and pretty much any game that isn't below M ratings.Β
I'm 19 now, and honestly, I'm SO GLAD that I still like to play "childish" games, instead of being an ignorant "hardcore gamer" who plays games that make you "manly."

It was difficult for me to make friends when I was in public high schools where most of the guys mainly talk about Call of Duty, Battlefield, Grand Theft Auto and so on. I was so annoyed to hear them talk about them and whenever I bring up Sonic or Mario I get "seriously" or "Sonic sucks" and that kind of thing. I'm also 19 and I'm glad I still play those games. Hmph, So-called "hard-core" gamers that play M games... pfft.

I don't hate Nintendo, I love this company. Even Metroid series, that has no M-rated games and which is the darkest one is proof that Nintendo is not childish. There are two things that bug me about Nintendo.
First, they shut down every fan project based on their IP, like AM2R. Why not just port this game to 3DS eShop!?
Second, they ignore countries, whose residents have little to no nostalgia on Nntendo products (though they played Famiclones) (Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS countries, Middle East and Southeast Asia).

Sony and Microsoft charge for multiplayer if u don't have multiplayer then u aren't getting the full game experience, Nintendo doesn't charge, and I know the 3ds is preferred over the PlayStation Vita. There games get highΒ reviews too and they bring families together so again...Damn right!
