I first heard about Adult Party Ren and Stimpy after seeing this one episode, where Ren and Stimpy, who are gay in this one, do this sexual thing where Ren attaches a saw onto his crotch, and saws a log that stimpy has on his back.
Then I wanted to see more. I watched this one, and Oh My Gentle Jesus.
I'm shocked that this didn't give me nightmares when I saw it, and I have seen nightmarish stuff like Evangelion and Elfen Leid, which gave me a lot of sleepless nights.

This episode feels like a creepypasta. No, scratch that, this is worse than a creepypasta as the creator was sick enough in the head to come up with this! For all we know, this could be the real Ren and Stimpy; the one in the 90's being reined in (thankfully) by the Nickelodeon executives at the time.
As for Richard D(ick) Pursel, how did he manage to find a job as a writer for SpongeBob?! Did no one from Nickelodeon see his contributions to this series? Better yet, did anyone really care?! I truly believe that you can't go from writing for adults to writing for kids, as there is a different style for each age group and genre. Transitioning from kids to adults works a lot better as writing styles mature with age (or at least they should)
After watching this review, the root cause of A Pal for Gary and Pet Sitter Pat has become a lot clearer, and I have a huge respect for you to even attempt to review this.
I should also point out that this episode was written in 1991. You know what that means right? This could have gone on a kids network. It's good it didn't. I bet if it did there would be tons of controversy over this.

I like how John K always complains about alot of modern animation, when one of the only good things he's ever done was the original R&S and a Simpsons Couch Gag. However, John K. wanted R&S like THIS from the beginning so the original was probably cause of Nickelodeon (you know before Viacom); John K was given more control over this series, and this is what we got.

John K. tried to get away with as much shit as possible during the original Ren & Stimpy on Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon rejected A LOT of his original ideas for the show. and they censored his work heavily. Without the censors, John K. really would have put some seriously horrible shit on a show "for kids". I absolutely believe that John K. would have tried to make an episode like "Ren Seeks Help" during the show's original run. Ren already gave the most terrifying monologue I've ever seen in a "kids' show" when he went insane and talked about how he would murder Stimpy in his sleep by snapping his neck.
I think John K. even confirmed that a lot of the material he used in Adult Party Cartoon were rejected ideas from the original show,
