Blades on the bow are pretty impractical, like most such composit weapons. Still, very good art

That bow would be highly improbable if we used our physics. The swords would be absolutely fine however. It's just one wouldn't get much power out of a bow like that. A Bow depends on the draw length of the string and the tension that puts on the rest of the bow. At most the power derived would probably be equal to that of a Nerf gun.Β
This however is all rather a mute point as it takes place in the RWBY Universe. But take from this what you will.

I think its the brown hair and the bow. Β She and Katniss certainly have those things in common. Β Strange coincidences, huh? Β Wasn't even thinking of Katniss when I created Hazel. >.< Β I was in need of a ranged fighter for my team, and just happened to want to make a character based from the Hansel and Gretel story. Β Its easy to judge on appearances alone, but once you get to know Hazel, you'll see she and Katniss aren't alike personality wise.

I had the same idea for my OC's weapon where it was also a bow that could be a two bladed staff! Great minds think alike!

I can't help but wonder how one physics that weapon o.o The handle must see some major bending during draw, which would ruin its purpose in melee (it won't slice, only cut - it would just bend upon touching)
