Pileus, the character I adopted from =griffsnuff C:I decided to name him Pileus, which is the technical word for the cap of a mushroom XD
He's got magic in him, but he doesn't yet know how to use it properly. When he's in a happy mood, though, the plants around him start growing faster.
Snuff, I hope you don't mind that I changed him a bit so he was less complicated and fit my style more C:

I think you should create a hard-edged gryphon. Like to be Pileus' friend, like Pileus would be the annoying little brother. C:

umm well all of it because ive seen other people do this stuff and i cant figure out how

Well, for the character I did a flat-colored pic like I normally do. The background was a simple gradient. For the sparkles, I did the same thing I did in this tutorial: [link] minus the motion blur XD The glow on the text and character was just a layer effect (In Photoshop's layer menu, the little 'f' at the bottom) 'Outer Glow'.
