Eyo! TRA again, and here I have my part of the Spring art exchange at (I became the 6th person in the exchange to make things even), and I got CrystalCrowned to draw for! She requested that her tall sweetheart, Princess Chelise, be drawn, and I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to put her in an Aviary with her beloved pet, Allegro! Just like Chel, I sincerely love birds, too, and I love watching what they do, so I thought it would be amusing to draw him holding a tasty cookie in his toes an chewing on it!Also, I did my best to think of a cute, Spring-y dress for Chel, and I liked the idea of reversing her color scheme a bit, and giving her a flowy, light blue dress with some purple accents! I'm quite content with how it turned out and sincerely hope that it might be something that she would wear (also thought the twisted pigtails would be cute, too!) I'm so sorry I'm not doing anything for this group and I'm commenting even later as I'm used to, but this month will be, as the next, the busiest one, since the exam is in a month...
Anyways, I'm not here to talk about my personal life, and I would like to express just my fast opinion: I really like how you drawn Chelise here, she seems like a mix about your usual style andΒ your Mario one, and it's pleasing to stare at! Even her dress seems so elegant and fitting for an ethereal figure like her! And Allegro, also is drawn as a cutie, it's the part I loved most! ;^;

Yep, you're spot on, it's a Mario Style blended with my own, and I'm so glad that you think it works well for this piece! Drawing Allegro and the other birds was one of my favorite parts, as well! For me, owning a bird is way too much of a responsibility because of how long they live and how much each bird bonds and relies solely on its owner; but I absolutely adore watching them, so I wanted that love to come through in my drawing.
And about the Forum, take all of the time that you need to look at it and respond to it! Being a Contributor is a more easygoing role, so it's just nice to have your opinion! But, in the meantime, try your best to keep stress low, and I hope to get to talk to you soon!

I love everything about this~ Chelise's dress is just amazing and works well with the spring-y theme - I'm loving the reversed color scheme, crystal patterns, and how frilly and ruffly it is! And those shoes! <3
This background is so awesome, The fountain is a lovely addition and the greenery is looking nice! I've thought about having an aviary somewhere near the castle or kingdom for the princess to enjoy~ And all these cute birds - I can just imagine Chelise would have a field day playing with this place, and Allegro could always make a few more flying friends~ ^o^

Aww, you're so welcome, my dear! I'm so glad that you like this, especially Chel's dress! I was hoping that the design, particularly with the crystals, wasn't too out there for Chel's typical tastes! But I thought it was a fun dress to design, and I'm glad that my senses were correct in envisioning her in something so casual and free! And thank you about the background, too! Once I came up with the idea, the rest came together pretty easily, although the only thing I am still truly clueless on is grass; still not patient enough, but I'm getting closer to becoming comfortable with it!
I do like the idea of Chel helping out in a nearby Aviary, too, especially since I imagine that some of the birds there might have injuries that would prevent them from properly surviving in the wild, and hey, if it gives Chel a reason to get out more, then it's perfect for both her and the birds! Again, the pleasure's all mine, and your warm, accepting response is always encouraging.
