After adjusting the brightness and contrast of my original Silver ladybug, I came to find that it actually looks pretty nice at a dark value.Just an observation. I'm sure by now everybody has had enough with the ladybugs.

this is very good! I love it! this is pretty much what I would like to be able to do. I've started trying a little bit but i don't have the skills and probably not the right program to be doing it in. If you could give me some beginners pointers, I would very much appreciate it. Well, you can never have enough comments so here's one more! This is a *very* nice piece of work. I particularly like the reflections - they're there but somewhat subtle and understated so they don't dominate the picture. It shows great restraint! It's awesome, other than the eyes. For me, the eyes are what kills an otherwise god-like deviation...they seem too..jewel-like, when I'd expect something along with the theme of the rest of the image.
That's not to say I don't like it...it's yet another impressive work from you, and another awesome lookin ladybug.

I really like it, I remember you, your deviant was the first deviant I saw after register to deviantart. And you had ths picture, quite like this.

It's nice, being a good clean piece with the sleek smoothness and good design.
but of course there's a but
Of the other ladybugs (of which I am not tired of) I've seen, the had a certain elegance, and grace about them despite their rotund shape of a ladybug. This one seems so clumsy looking and bulky, almost like a mammoth clutz bug. It's so solid and the feet are just, kinda dull, really.
The head, and the back is nice, but it's just that it seems that the legs make the bug. They just turn me off a bit (as apposed to the bug turning me on?) and seem too bulky.
Of course, if you wanted a tank-bug in your army, this is great
