Dear Diary April 5th, 2008

Today was the big day: my first date with Kyle at the new milkshake place. I was feeling so many emotions at once like excitement and a little bit of anxiety. It all felt like something out of a movie. As Kyle walked by pick me up, my heart started beating a little faster. I checked my outfit one more time and made sure my hair was neatly brushed. I didn't want anything to go wrong.

As we walked to the restaurant, Kyle kept chatting and making me laugh. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I felt like I was in my own little bubble, just the two of us. When we arrived, we were greeted with the fragrant smell of milkshakes and the sounds of conversation. It was a lively place, but in that moment, it felt like we were the only ones there.

As we sat down and ordered our milkshakes, my stress levels started to rise. I couldn't help but worry about the green rashes that had developed due to all the stress I'd been under lately. Please, don't let Kyle notice them, I thought to myself.

To my surprise, the date went better than I could have ever imagined. Kyle was funny, charming, and just so easy to be around. Time seemed to fly by, and before I knew it, our milkshakes were gone. As we walked back to our homes holding hands, I couldn't help but smile. Today was definitely one of those moments that felt like something out of a movie and I was so very glad to be experiencing it with Kyle.
