Description Aaa
I drew more of this bab, mostly other sketches/doodles while coming up with the design

Noniote is a slamander serpentine dragon noodle thing and I already love em.

Some general info, for if I ever request or commission a drawing of them I guess.

The most suitable environment for them would be a sort of wetland. A swamp, lake, pond, or even at a stream is a place you'd find them. Saltwater, like the ocean however, is a lil less likely. On both land and in water, they're very fast and agile.

Their skin is very slippery, and thinly coated with a sort of clear mucus, it seems. If the skin is dried out, it becomes less slippery. Either way, the skin is very sensitive to touch. The lips/skin around the mouth is extremely sensitive, and can even act as sensors to smell and taste before eating. Vibrations in the air hitting the skin also allows them to basically see and hear without eyes.

They can squirt a lil water from their mouth, too. (Like an oyster does.) This isn't an aggressive or offensive measure, it's rarely in self-defense to scare a threat. They mostly use the stored water to keep the skin on their body hydrated, or for playing.

As for behavior-
They're not too timid. Noniote is actually pretty high up in the food chain, so the lack of natural predators has lead them to have less fear in whatever would approach them in the wild. If they feel threatened though, expect a squirt of water in the face before they run away or hide.

Other than in the wild, they can be very clingy and affectionate. This usually includes some coiling around someone and rubbing up against them. Even hugging with their arms can happen.

Honestly, I would sooo want this lil dood as a pet. Like a big ol black slimy worm. Snake. Catfish. Noodle. Thing. It's gr8 mmkay

Have an awesome day

...this would almost make a great adopt species if you added a few more features to differentiate from one to the next...if I had any money or points I would actually ask to adopt one.

Well, I think most of it would just be different skin patterns and designs. But you could add like different types of horns, spikes along the body, frills for the ones that are more aquatic. But that's just if you even WANT to make an adopt species out of it.
