See, it's funny because- yeah...
Anyway, Daisy AKA Best Princess was revealed as an Echo Fighter, i.e. a moveset clone for Smash Bros. Ultimate. And I thought I'd mark the occasion with a little mini-comic. Peach was gonna mark the occasion, too, but I don't think this was how she expected to do it.
A few remarks on this comic - Peach and Daisy's colour palletes are based on their official SSBU renders, but Villager's was based on SSB4. All the shading was done with the darkest versions of the base colour, and the highlights vice versa. Which, as it turns out, makes shading take three times as long, but I honestly like the results that I got from this. The background is just a screenshot of the new Battlefield from the Nintendo Direct, and most of the poses here are based on me mucking around with GMod. Also the kiss panel was the first one I did, but that goes without saying. I cheated a little by moving Daisy's model up a little so that she was around Peach's height, but I don't think it shows in the drawing, thank goodness.
On a side note, I actually quite enjoy making these two kiss on accident. I might have to do it more often

...holy crap, that's amazing! You got the voices spot-on and the use of the Mario sound effects was great! Only complaint - both of Peach's bits of dialogue in Panel 1 should have gone first, instead of alternating between Peach and Daisy. But other than that, this was awesome!

Why is she a total clone of Peach?

I wouldn't say a total clone. It's obviously gonna be a Marth/Lucina or Pit/Dark Pit scenario where they have the same base moves but different properties. And possibly a different Final Smash - we don't know enough to be able to judge yet.
I can understand your disappointment, I suppose. I would have also liked Daisy to have her own moves. But the fact that she's playable at all is a bonus for me, especially as she was relegated to being a trophy for so long. Her being a clone was probably the most realistic outcome, too, given that in practical terms there isn't really that much to separate her from Peach. So I'm just happy she's in regardless of how she plays.

but the only part that kinda turns me away from it is the noses being bent like that when they kiss. It just looks kinda......gross. Idk. I think it's down to the fact that their nostrils are extended, which is VERY gross....
