This painting taught me that procrastinating can get me killed, srsly.
This is for =KidAngel 's contest

This is her character Rae :'D
He's cool ^_^ That thing in his hand is a sword (sorry if I took too much liberties with it D: I changed the hilt a bit, okay a lot)

Okay, I so badly rushed this. I wanted to join =KidAngel 's contest ever since like beginning of July, and I had a perfect idea of what it would look like and had it all sketched out. AND THEN, I procrastinated and did other stuff ;_;
I kept thinking that the contest ends the end of August, so I kept procrastinating until this after when I went to check the other entries, and apparently the end date was YESTERDAY. But, since =KidAngel said that it was still okay in her journal, I decided to risk it and started on the lineart, and then she told me to hurry up and I like just sat on the computer for 5 hours straight to finish this
My hands hurt like hell, and I didn't even have time to correct the anatomical mistakes before colouring. At first I wanted to save time by colouring with celshading when I realised that since I COULDN"T do it, it would take even more time, but I didn't want to use my previous way of one layer painting as it would also take a lot of time so I combined the two methods

Okay, someone shoot me now for ranting too much.
