Oh my! Does this mean that I'm going to do more LU soon?...Maybe? I don't know.
I placed this with Checker (that's what I'm calling her for now) and Sheepy asking the question because I really have no fucking idea. I miss them though, and I'm sure one or two people do as well, so I'll try to sum up why I haven't done any more..
My older laptop died some time back and it had the next couple week's worth of updates on there. As you may imagine, that was a HUGE bummer. It made me not want to continue. I would have to re-draw all this crap, and frankly I wasn't feeling it.
So NOW, I'm thinking that I'll just re-start a new chapter. Think of the last one as... A pilot episode.
Or something.
There's really no definite answer yet.
Anyway, doesn't Checker look pretty here?

I think what I like best about this work is your use of thin/thick lines and the minimal use of color. I also like her pose/expression, it seems very natural. ^_^

I've tried to mess around with doing artworks with no color, or full color- and I feel like it takes away from it. When things are black and white and include more than the absolute minimum of detail, you can't separate parts of the work.
With too much color, it just is a big blotch of colors. Sure, the shade is pretty, but then you're distracted. You can see it, but it's harder to appreciate.
Minimal color always seems to work for me. Especially these characters, whom I've come to love quite a bit. And yeah, usually it's hip to the side, casual expression. xD
