It comes in layers, so you can remove the layer with the base color and it will then be transparent.

Try downloading Gimp or another free software like that! Gimp lets you use layers and such

I actually don't know, but I know some ways of probably figuring out if it would.
Are you able to open up .psd files with sketchbook pro?
I would probably try getting a downloadable free lineart first, seeing if the .psd file works, and if it does, then this one should work too.
I'm pretty certain it won't work with a phone, but like I said, try getting a free downloadable lineart with a .psd file.
If your phone has a program that can distinguish layers, like the line layer and the base layer, then it would probably work.

The file that comes with it is a PSD file, so it's in layers. The lineart layer is transparent, so yes. c:
You can open PSD files with Gimp, Sai, and Photoshop I believe~
