Book the Chronicler

The evil evil Dorian ( ) sent the hero, Book, and the poor castle into the dead zone, by evil and twisted black voodoo. In there, Book was almost dead, if it weren't for the Narrator's magic. Suddenly, something came around and made a deal with Book... survival, in exchange for his services. Dunno why. Probably got something to do with the magical link that ties every chronicler and the Narrator. And Book doesn't give two shits if the Narrator is compromised.

So now, Book is alive. As a demon thingy.

More details: As a demon, Book is now a bit stronger, faster, a significant healing factor, endurance, heightened senses, claws and fangs.
