hehe I was enchanted with the background as soon as I saw it!! You did so well.
It's dark which is a perfect theme for death note. I remember the anime had something like that.
When Light was taking to Ryuk and Rem about the Death Note

Ah, I liked Rem ^o^ (I liked Ryuk too of course xD) ....Well, not what she did, but she didn't really seem to have the intent if you know what I mean. She could've done 'THAT' from the start if she really wanted to. Light is one crafty guy o-o

I loved Rem too as well. She was of of the few shinigami that cared. Ryuk was truly neutral with Light unless apples were involved xD

If he killed L that way, his successors might still of had a chance because they would know it is more or less definitely him (as he was a suspect). They would just have to avoid having photos taken or meeting him in person maybe. (I'm not sure why, but I just thought of the idea of Light having a secret agent side kick who would try to take photo's of peoples faces o.o)

xD Yes, Near now has voodoo dolls of Light. He suddenly feels a sharp pinch in the back of his head as he sits down, I can imagine it, haha. (Near doesn't use guns, he uses accidental dart attacks to defend himself XD)

Hmmmm... I don't know to be honest. I sort of like Mello's unpredictable nature, not to say that Near isn't, but he tends to physically act more. I like them both, but I think I would lean slightly more towards Mello maybe because he expresses his emotions more than Near. Didn't he kill a mafia boss? that's pretty impressive for someone his age o-o...(And ever so slightly worrying xD, I'm wondering what he would've of become after the death note case was over. Maybe he would've tried to surpass Near as a criminal or a very 'extreme' crime solver...) I liked how Mello was able to put his feelings to the side in a way to help the case (I recall Near saying something like 'It was all thanks to Mello'), as if he knew what was going to happen, and that he had to do it (Kinda sad though

It's true Mello could get a bit.. 'explosive' (pun not intended xD), in that factor Near was stronger. I don't think Near hated Mello, but had a sort of admiration in a way. Mello shows us in a way that you don't have to be exactly like L to be as good as him, so it was cool to see (I guess you could say the same for Light).
