Okay, first off, that red stuff isn't blood. It's magic. Credenza has only been backhanded and NOT mortally wounded, which would be really odd, since she's the main character, and it would be just WRONG to kill her off this early.This was a rather hard page to do. Captain Syn is a really dark color, as is his suit, so defining what is Syn's fur, what is his cloak, and what is the back of his cloak is a bit of a chore.
Weee, lots and lots and lots and lots of red.

I actually like it how the captain's form is kinda uncertain. We know at least that he's bat-like, so you could make him even more indistinct and it would look just as cool if not cooler. Mind you I'm reading from the bottom up, so he's probably changed a lot in the new comics anyway...

Plus his wings are extremely hard to draw. Aside from being cool, his coat is a bit of a cheat so I don't have to draw them as much.

Hmm. I've got a suggestion for the dark tones. When you're dealing with so many grey tones, it helps to use white outlines instead of black in some places. You have to be careful not to over-do it, but it can be a very effective technique if used properly.
As for the page, another job well done. I'm really starting to get into the story now.
