Description
Vendetta is a character for Concrete Jungle.She has anger issues and is extremely blunt. But that's what makes her entertaining!
She uses a fighting style that's a Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai mixture, plus she can use and throw (negative) energy tomahawks and create a bow and arrows out of it as well. The negative energy and rage aspect is essentially akin to a Red Lantern, for comparison's sake.
If you can't tell, she's inspired by Native American stylings (I too am part Native American, so I wanted to do something that references that someday in at least one character).
Oh, and those spikes, those are actually very sharp teeth fastened to leather.
This sprite took a long time. One of my longest undertakings for a project due to the dynamic pose.
I probably redid the whole damn leg like 3 times over. XD
But, trials and tribulations! It paid off being persistent, even if I had to take breaks inbetween (as I even initially started this months ago, then like two weeks ago came back to it and have been workin' on it on and off since, including long nights and mornings to get it right).

But yeah, man, it was a long project in comparison to most, as the trial and error of getting it right was the main mountain I had to get over.
I had the colors picked out early on, but I actually started out with an alternate palette for her at first. It was due to wanting to try something kinda JoJo's Bizarre Adventure inspired color-wise at first, which is mixing two vibrant colors together, usually with a dark color.
So, I at first did everything you see that's red as lime green, and her hair and the red on the belt as an icy blue.
It looked really cool, but it didn't fit the anger, rage, and revenge angle of her character properly for her base color scheme.
For sure I'll make it be her Player 2 palette, as it did look really unique with the look, but in comparison, red, white, and black just looked better and fit best.
Not to mention red and black are my two favorite color combos, while white is a great complimentary color to those two.

I was really critical on myself multiples times tryin' to get certain things right.
The anatomy and the way the muscles and everything are on the whole leg and even the foot.
I didn't wanna sandbag it and make it look lacking in detail or shading.
